The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) is a British multi-disciplinary institution, based in London, whose notable members have included Benjamin Franklin, Karl Marx, Adam Smith, William Hogarth, Charles Dickens and Guglielmo Marconi. For brevity it is known as the Royal Society of Arts. The Society runs a public lecture programme which seeks to introduce new and challenging thinking. These lectures are made freely available as podcasts on its website.
